Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo
Tiramisu. Undoubtedly, one in every of my favorite Italian desserts. When I’m at a restaurant, I can always rely on a nicely-made tiramisu when it’s time to order dessert. Why am I banging on about tiramisu Well, when Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo was first launched internationally final year, I learn that certainly one of its dominant notes is tiramisu.
On paper that sounded deliciously intriguing, but I wasn’t solely convinced either. Would it be sickly candy Would it’s a kind of generic, prepared-made tiramisus all too frequent in pizzerias Or would or not it’s a refreshingly trendy and fashionable take on the traditional
When Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo officially arrived in South Africa in March 2017, I used to be impaziente to get my nostril around it. I arrived at the launch before most of the other media contingent (blame that on my German ancestry!). Not such a nasty thing. It gave me the chance to spray this EDT earlier than everybody else.
Pssss! Pssss! And there it was! The unmistakable scent of tiramisu. And not just any ol’ tiramisu. An authentic and joyful tiramisu. La dolce vita! But let me not give you the impression that Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo is just about tiramisu…
I have spent the last three weeks living with this EDT. The extra time I spend with it, the extra I discover its nuances. That’s a word I exploit deliberately here. This isn’t a loud, macho Italian fragrance. That is Salvatore Ferragamo, in spite of everything. So we’re speaking elegante. Notes of black pepper, cardamom, bergamot, orange blossom, ambrox, cashmere wooden, sandalwood and tonka bean all play their part to create an eminently easy, sexy and sophisticated scent.
GET A GRIP: Whichever means you take a look at it, what a handsome bottle.
This should come as no surprise, as Alberto Morillas is one of the co-creators of this fragrance. The Spaniard is aware of his stuff and has a long listing of prime scents to his title. These embrace Bulgari Man in Black, cK One, Panthere de Cartier, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio, Givenchy Pi and, most recently, Gucci Responsible Absolute.
Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo is also very versatile and works day or evening. I find it especially appealing as a mattress-time scent. Not because it’s an aphrodisiac as such, however because it’s so comfortable and soothing to salvatore ferragamo sofia handbag wear.
The reassuringly solid bottle deserves a particular point out, too. The combo of glass and logo-ed black sides makes a suitably luxe statement.
Something tells me that Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo goes to be certainly one of my favorite fragrances of 2017.
