Salvatore Ferragamo Unveils Rodeo Drive Transform

The Salvatore Ferragamo style home reopened its Rodeo Drive boutique with a gala party attended by film stars, athletes and different members of the glitterati.
The brand new look of the flagship, situated at 357 N. Rodeo Drive, was meant to speak the sumptuous fashion of the trend house’s luxury footwear and prepared-to-put on along with the craftsmanship of the trend house’s founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, who launched the brand in 1927.
“I wanted to keep their voices alive,” stated the store’s architect, William Sofield, referring to the brand’s heritage and founder. “It’s what it is all about.”
Steel designs on shop doors have been made to be reminiscent of leather-based cuttings and shoe designs made by Salvatore Ferragamo. The flagship featured gallery-type shows of Ferragamo sneakers such because the whimsical women’s shoe referred to as “Invisible,” which was crafted in 1947. One other show exhibited a Ferragamo Oxford shoe worn by famend artist Andy Warhol. There’s a drop of paint on the shoe.

Michele Norsa, the vogue house’s chief executive officer and group managing director, was also there. Celebrities on the event included Demi Moore, Freida Pinto, Camilla Belle, Andy Garcia and Robbie Rogers of the LA Galaxy soccer staff.
The Ferragamo vogue home is on the move. In Might, it opened a retailer in Brookfield Place in New York Metropolis.
