Ferragamo Uomo Fragrance Launch
A fragrance launch party could be a pretty tepid, run-of-the-mill affair in New York, but last night’s Salvatore Ferragamo shingdig for its new men’s fragrance, Uomo, was anything however. Held at Rose Bar inside the Gramercy Park Resort, the get together was thrown as a traditional Italian aperitivo, complete with handed prosciutto with melon, fried artichokes, and plenty of cannoli.
On show was not only a lavish array from the genius florists from Putnam & Putnam, but also the brand new Uomo campaign video starring actor Ben Barnes. Rose Bar is a comfy, decadent house, and these components only helped make it really feel all of the more particular. The brand did a stellar job of bringing together a lively group for the affair, as nicely. There have been the get together fixtures we know and love—Leigh Lezark, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Hilary Rhoda, and RJ King amongst them—but it was a handful of lesser-seen faces in the room that stood out, like Tictail cofounder Carl Waldekranz, Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, Boyhood star Ellar Coltrane, and singer-songwriter Ian Mellencamp. “I may need just a few exhibits developing, so we’ll see,” Mellencamp advised us. “But I’m principally excited to be back within the studio working on new music.”
